The Future Stars Award

Applicants submit an essay, resume, and multiple letters of recommendation demonstrating all of the following:

• Dedication to the sport of bowling
• Commitment to competing on the PWBA national tour
• Financial need

Applications are reviewed by a committee of six past and present PWBA competitors, who ultimately select three winners. The total award amount is $2,500, with one winner receiving $1,500 and two winners receiving $500.

The Future Stars Award is open to women committed to regularly competing on the PWBA national tour who meet both of the following criteria:

• Have participated in fewer than eight (8) national tournaments since the PWBA relaunch, and
• Have participated in fewer than three (3) national tournaments during any single PWBA season.

(This includes both amateurs transitioning to pro and current PWBA members who are newer to the national tour.)

Applicants must submit the following for review:

• An essay detailing the athlete's dedication to the sport of bowling, commitment to competing on the PWBA national tour, and financial need.
• A resume
• Multiple letters of recommendations
